KUALA LUMPUR - A Road Transport Department (JPJ) personnel on duty was killed in an accident on km13 of lingkaran Karak near a petrol station headed towards the Gombak toll plaza today (Feb 6).

The victim was said to have tried to chase a motorcycle ridden by a man who ran away from a roadblock at the toll plaza by riding against the traffic flow.

Sinar Daily was made to understand that the victim had lost control and skidded into oncoming traffic before being hit by a car around 9.30am.

The victim, in his 30s, was hit by a Toyota Vios driven by a foreigner.
