With a vision to become the best city developer, SkyWorld is launching the new “You & I” campaign, with “You” representing the customers and “I” representing SkyWorld. Sinar Daily journalist Rynnaas Azlan speaks to its chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng about the new campaign.

Question: What exactly is the “You & I” campaign?

Answer: You & I campaign encapsulates the true essence of SkyWorld as a customer-centric company. ‘You’ represents the customers and ‘I’ represents SkyWorld. Together, “You & I” are making great things happen by giving ‘living’ a whole new meaning.

Q: What is the objective of this campaign?

A: We want to further amplify our commitment to our customers, as customer satisfaction is our utmost priority.

Q: What are your strategies for making SkyWorld a customer-centric company?

A: We strongly believe that when our employees are happy, our customers are happier thus we constantly strive to provide a happier and healthier workplace for our employees. Here at SkyWorld, we create a culture that focuses on delivering an amazing customer experience, even before they buy our products. We have a saying, to only ‘Do Things That Matter To The Customers’.

Q: What about your customers, how do you plan to keep them happy?

A: When we build our property, we always imagine how it would benefit the homeowners. We first ask ourselves if our ideas increase efficiency and maximise convenience. It is very important to understand our purchasers’ mindset and the market demands, which is why our homes are built around our three brand pillars – Sky living experience, value creation and innovation.

Q: Let’s talk about first-time home buyers. How do you convince them that they should purchase their first home from SkyWorld?

A: We are always committed to delivering quality homes that can be passed down from one generation to another. With that in mind, SkyWorld pledges that all projects will have a Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) rating certification, a system and method used by the Construction Industry Development Board.

Q: Tell us more about the QLASSIC rating.

A: It is a rating system used to assess and evaluate the quality of building workmanship based on the Construction Industry Standard in Malaysia.

Q: How well does SkyWorld receive customers’ feedback?

A: We believe the only way for us to build a strong relationship with them is to listen and understand. We take comments seriously, whether positive or negative, as customers’ feedback is invaluable to us. Feedback helps us improve our products and services, which in turn, boosts the company’s performance overall.

Q: We understand SkyWorld has designed an application for its customers. Can you tell us more about SkyWorld Connects?

A: We have invested RM1 million into the app to ensure that convenience is top of our list. We wanted to take it to the next level. It is basically an innovative and user-friendly application specially created for SkyWorld homeowners. It serves as a dedicated platform for effective and efficient communications between SkyWorld homeowners, residents, management, and its security team. Some of the features include key collection appointments, defects submission, facilities booking, advanced visitor registration, and even useful contacts to have.

Q: What about the recent launch of Solution+? Is this a new feature in the SkyWorld Connects app?

A: Yes! Solution+ is an innovative feature in the SkyWorld Connects app itself that connects homebuyers with home solutions traders. We provide conveniences to our home buyers with a wide range of services such as interior design, renovation, furniture, home appliances, telecommunication services, movers, and even rental services. Moreover, through crowd deals, our homebuyers get to enjoy great savings and special packages too!

Q: Did your homebuyers like this new feature?

A: We have received an overwhelming response! During the soft launch to our SkyMeridien and SkyAwani 3 homebuyers, we have recorded RM2.9mil sales within a week!

Q: What is SkyWorld’s main focus right now?

A: Our vision is as simple as ABCD, ‘Always Best City Developer’. We will continue to stay focused in the city and in providing the ultimate sky living experience for our customers. We also want to ensure SkyWorld is able to design homes that are ideal for homebuyers thus will be launching a co-creation platform that enables public engagement in order to understand the needs and requirements of homebuyers for our upcoming developments.

Q: Speaking of upcoming developments, what is SkyWorld’s future plans?

A: We will continue to source high-value land pockets across cities within established localities that include excellent connectivity, amenities, and public transport. We are excited to announce that we are now gearing up for four new launches in ideal locations - Setapak, Setiawangsa, Cheras, and Taman Melawati.
