SHAH ALAM - The Iftar Ala Madinah@Karangkraf programme organised by Sinar Harian, Karya Bestari and Warisan Ummah Ikhlas (WUIF) will be able to accommodate up to 1,000 visitors daily.

Project Leader Firdaus Hussamuddin said those who want to experience the breaking fast experience must call and book a place in advance.

“We expect about 500 people daily but we can accept up to 1,000 visitors at one go.

“But please book a spot and inform us you will be joining the programme.

“This is because the food will be provided based on the number of bookings for the day,” she said today.

Firdaus said the programme, which starts today (April 4 to 29) at Dataran Karangkraf, Shah Alam, aims to provide an opportunity for those who need a hassle-free buka puasa.

However, there will be no iftar programme on weekends.

She also welcomed any non-governmental organisations, corporate bodies or individuals who want to donate and help those who are in.

“We also encourage other parties who want to join us for infaq in terms of food, goods or even in the form of cash do it via online transfer,” she said.
