Karangkraf Medicare face mask certified by SIRIM, MDA
SHAH ALAM - The three-layer face mask produced by Karangkraf through its subsidiary Karangkraf Medicare has received certification and labelling from MS Sirim and the Medical Device Authority (MDA).
Its operations manager Raja Syuriani Raja Ali said the product was certified since April, last year.
"We obtained the MS SIRIM and MDA labels early and we were also the earliest ones to get the certification.
“The MDA standard certification was under the Health Ministry which is a higher standard than Sirim.
"The three-layer face mask produced by Karangkraf Medicare is of medical and surgical standard, which means it is 99 per cent effective," she said.
Raja Syuriani said the product was sent to the laboratory for skin sensitivity and irritation tests which involved 99 per cent bacterial filtration.
“We guarantee the quality of our product from the factory in which we provide products that are suitable for sensitive skins," she said.
She added that currently there is a promotional discount in conjunction with Ramadan where people could purchase the Karangkraf Medical Face Mask for as low as RM7 for 10 pieces and it comes with a hygiene case.
