Telekung brand Siti Khadijah donated 50 copies of Braille Quran to the blind through the “Nur Al-Quran” programme recently.

Run by SK Cakna, the community development initiative is aiming to donate 200 copies of Braille Quran to the Malaysian Development Organization for the Blind (PPOBM).

The program was officiated by the Chief Imam of the Federal Territory Mosque, Sahibul Dahilah Haji Muhyidin Aziz.

The main objective of the "Nur Al-Quran" program is to enlighten the visually impaired to the holy book.

Launched on March 7, the program will be running until the end of June.

Members of the public may use this opportunity to raise funds and donate towards the printing of more Braille Quran copies.

To join in the efforts, one needs to purchase the daily prayer book online or at any SK boutique.

Part of the proceeds will be donated directly to PPOBM so that it may cover the costs of printing more copies.
