Albukhary Mosque in Kedah to host World #QuranHour 2022

ALOR SETAR - Albukhary Mosque in Jalan Langgar, Kedah, has been chosen as the place to host World #QuranHour 2022 here today.
Rumah Ngaji Kedah representative Saloni Mustaffa said World #QuranHour in the state was held with the cooperation of various parties including Albukhary International University (AIU).
He said Rumah Ngaji also collaborated with the Public Library Corporation, Alumni and Students Organization, Sultanah Bahiyah Mosque Muslimat Association and various schools in order to make the program a success.
"Apart from library corporations, universities, schools, among the parties involved are also several non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
"The World #QuranHour program is indeed gaining the attention of the community in this state," he told Sinar Harian on Sunday (April 24).
Saloni described the programme had become routine for the local community.
World #QuranHour which will be held today, quivalent to 24 Ramadan 1443H, and themed ‘The World Prostrates’.
The Al-Sajdah verse became the programme’s verse of choice this year.
