IPOH - The Perak Perikatan Nasional is yet to discuss on offering former Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman to contest under the coalition's ticket.

However, its chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said it was up to the leadership to decide.

He further said it is up to Pas to offer Tajuddin a seat and it does not involve Bersatu.

"I cannot comment on matter that does not involve me. That is the right of the leaders, we did not discuss the matter (on the offer to Tajuddin).

"We are not involved in other people's parties. It is up to Pas. It is their right to share their views.

"On behalf of Bersatu, we have not even discussed the matter," he told reporters after officiating the Raja Perempuan National Secondary School Sports Games at the school field on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Faizal, the Bersatu Deputy President said the cooperation between the PN parties in Perak remained intact and strong.

Earlier, Sinar Harian reported that Perak Pas has invited Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin to contest under the PN ticket in GE15.

State PAS commissioner Razman Zakaria was reported to have said that the former Prasarana non-executive chairman could consider the invitation if he was not given a place by BN to contest at the Pasir Salak parliamentary seat in GE15.
