Stop questioning Tajuddin's appointment to Indonesia, consented by Agong - PM

Bernama further quoted Ismail Sabri that Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman's appointment had been consented by the King.
He stressed that Tajuddin's appointment has received consent from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah."That (Tajuddin's appointment) has been approved by the Cabinet and submitted to the King... it has received the consent from (the King). The appointment letter should have been handed over... but the King was unwell then.
"Let's not question all this as the King has given his consent, we (the government) can't just simply revoke (it)," he said.
Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi last week said Tajuddin was dropped from the Supreme Council for being critical of the party.
Critics have said Tajuddin’s past conduct in the Dewan Rakyat and his removal as Prasarana Malaysia Berhad non-executive chairman after a controversial press conference following a LRT crash in KLCC last year, when he described the accident in which 213 people were injured as two trains “kissing”.
Electoral watchdog Bersih 2.0 also questioned how Tajuddin would be able to serve his Pasir Salak constituents effectively when he must be out of the country for the posting.
Ismail Sabri, the Umno vice-president further refuted allegations that there were two camps in Umno, saying there is only one group that leads the party's top leadership.
"There is only one camp in Umno," he told reporters when asked about the allegations that Umno now has two camps following the recent revelation by Tajuddin on Umno's internal issues.
Meanwhile, Ismail Sabri said Umno was still waiting for the decision of the Registrar of Societies (RoS) to approve the amendment to the party's constitution.
In May, Umno unanimously approved an amendment to allow party elections to be held no more than six months after the general election to give party members space to focus on election work. - Bernama
