KUALA LUMPUR – Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW), is set to unite designers and the local fashion industry again while celebrating its 10th year in revolutionising the local fashion scene.

Coming out of the pandemic in 2021, KLFW managed to continue its advocacy for the fashion industry after taking part in the grand spectacle both physically and virtually last year.

This year, Founder Andrew Tan said KLFW provides platforms for more than 40 local designers.

Namely Fiziwoo, Rizman Ruzaini, Nurita Harith, Innai Red, and many more will unite on the runway on this Aug 17 to 21, at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

The winner of the Most Stylish Female Celebrity at the Anugerah Fesyen Kuala Lumpur 2021, Scha Al-Yahya, who is also a member of the partnership will launch her own line of unisex perfumes brand in association with KLFW.

“I am truly honored that KLFW has agreed to partner up with us this year despite us being new.” She expressed.

According to Scha, KLFW is the best platform for her to give a sneak preview of her own line of brand knowing it is the only event in the country that focuses on pushing forward Malaysian talents.

Meanwhile, Tan is proud to say that KLFW had achieved all three parameters vision they had set.

“I am proud to say that KLFW had achieved all three parameters that we had set – it is the closing of an amazing fashion chapter.” He told.

In a separate update, the KLFW team is set to launch Fashion Connect.22 this September.

Fashion Connect.22 is an educational platform hosted by AmBank to weave AmBank’s product into educational talks with industry experts, and serves as a great platform for networking.
