SHAH ALAM - A 24-year-old man's right leg is wounded after suffering a fall at Kanching Eco Forest Park waterfall today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Director Norazam Khamis said his team received a distress call at 2.08pm and was informed that the victim was conscious with an injured leg.

He said a total of nine personnel from Rawang Fire and Rescue Station were rushed to the scene.

"The rescue team arrived at the scene at 3.10pm and found the victim was suffering from hypothermia, minor injury on his knee and sprained right leg.

"Initial treatment was given to the victim and was taken down to the disaster control centre using a strecher," he said in a statement.

He added that the victim was transported to Selayang Hospital in an ambulance.

This is the second case at the waterfall today.
