KOTA KINABALU - Pas is prepared with any possibilities including to move solo and clash with other parties in the run-up to the 15th General Election (GE15).

Its deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man however said the party will continue to strengthen Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the preparation for the election.

"I see BN's (Barisan Nasional) determination to move solo, therefore if BN makes such a decision, we are prepared to deal with all the potential outcomes.

“If there is a consensus, we could form an alliance. If they want to fight, we can also fight.

“Yes, we are prepared to fight, but each party's decision will be presented to its leadership council. For Pas, as a PN component, we move on PN.

"Whatever it is, what matters most is that it benefits the people, and that they can gain from a fair and stable government. Due to the fact that our economy has not yet fully recovered, we do not want an unstable government." he told reporters during a work visit in Kampung Pengalat, here, on Saturday.

He said this when asked if Pas would run solo in GE15.

Meanwhile, asked whether Pas would field its candidates in Sabah, he said there were several seats proposed for the party to contest in GE15.
