'Corruption sees no race, religion' Pahang DAP slams Hadi's non-Muslims root of corruption remark

Lee said it is a serious accusation that can undermine the harmony of the country and it is "racist, rude and prejudicial" against the Chinese and Indian communities.
“Hadi should acknowledge the fact that corruption is a major problem in this country and it cuts across race and religion.
“Anyone can commit corruption in this country,” Lee said in a statement over Hadi's Facebook posting.
He also asked over the non-Muslim parties allied to Pas.
“Do the non-Bumiputera and non-Muslims only mean something to Pas to gain power and when it has gained power, it means nothing anymore except to be insulted?
“Does Hadi realise that Pas who is with the same coalition with Umno (Muafakat Nasional) is deeply involved with corruption?” he said.
He further said that he is "mindblown" over the ignorance of Pas leaders who have no respect for Malaysians.
He added that this is not the first time for Pas leaders to have issued such "rude" statements against the Chinese and Indians in Malaysia.
“They are so arrogant that they often make statements that not only offend other races and religions in this country, but even insult us and our religion.
“Is barbaric behavior the morals of a Malay?,” he asked the Islamic party.
He said that if any insulting statements are made against the Malays and the Muslims by any non-Malay or non-Muslim party or individual, it would certainly be a problem to Pas and its allies.
“Up to now, Pas' actions in making racist and prejudiced statements have not received criticism from their allies, including the component parties in the Barisan Nasional (BN) who seem to agree with these barbaric statements,” Lee said.
He further urged Pas leaders not use religion and racism as a medium to gain support.
"Corruption is an enemy of the country that needs to be fought regardless of religion or race,” he said.
