SHAH ALAM - Pas Youth calls for the government to consider cancelling and withdrawing the permission to organise all concerts involving international singers in the country.

Pas Youth Chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said this was because concerts were not in line with the norms and values of Muslims in Malaysia.

“With the cabinet meeting approaching soon, Pas through cabinet members will surely play a role in ensuring international singers’ concerts that are scheduled to be cancelled.

“We hope that the government through ministers related will consider to cancel and withdraw permissions for the concerts from taking place.

“The time is not suitable and the values brought are not suitable and goes against Islam as the national religion,” he said on a Facebook post on Thursday.

The Pasir Mas MP also said his party was not hesitant to hold a nationwide protest if the matter was ignored.

“Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and individuals who are concerned with this issue, let’s rise together.

“Do not allow the hedonism culture to spread and creep into the community and please make the effort so it reaches Seri Perdana in Putrajaya.
