KUALA LUMPUR - Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan has cautioned that Barisan Nasional (BN) has "no choice" but to win in the coming general elections, stating it will have time to rise if it falls in the 15th General Elections.

"We have no choice but to win. If we don't win this time, it will be hard for BN to rise," he said to hundreds of youths at BN youth election machinery launch at Stadium Titiwangsa, here.

The function was officiated by BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Earlier today, Umno veteran Gua Musang MP Tan Sri Tengku Razaleigh Tengku Hamzah had said Umno is still not at peace due to the continuous internal division at the party's state and central levels.

Mohamad or commonly known as Tok Mat said the leadership is ready for elections which could be held anytime.

"After the trip from Sabah, I have concluded our machinery is prepared for general elections," he said.
