JOHOR BAHRU – The Malaysian United Democratic Alliance Party sets their eyes on contesting Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) seats in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Its Deputy President Amira Aisya Abd Aziz said their main targets were the seats of Umno, Pas and Bersatu.

The Puteri Wangsa Assemblyman said it represented Muda's main mission after they had announced to join Pakatan Harapan (PH) as a component party last week.

"The second mission for Muda in GE15 was to ensure victory for the people and opposition bloc.

“Muda intends to ensure the opposition moves together.

"The negotiations of seats, election strategy, communications of parties are going smoothly with the parties being in the same coalition," she said in a statement on Monday.

Regarding the cooperation negotiations between Muda and PH, Aisya said all parties needed to give enough space for the PH Presidential Council to discuss and make decisions.

"This is not a small matter. We need to respect the time and space between partners to have an official discussion because it is important for us to provide a benefit to the people with our good political relations within the party," she said.
