SHAH ALAM - PKR Youth Chief Adam Ali says Muda may want to join hands with Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition to set a clear direction for the 15th general elections (GE15).

"In my opinion, it (Muda wants to join PH) it has something to do with making sure there is a clearer direction in the upcoming general election," he said to Sinar Daily.

He said this when attending a book launch titled Corruption and Hypocrisy in Malay Muslim Politics: The Urgency of Moral-Ethical Transformation at Karangkraf Media Group headquarters today.

The book, written by Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Kamal Hassan, was launched by Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah.

Adam was referring to a statement by PH presidential council which said Muda and Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) intention to join or partner with PH meant that the opposition coalition would be able to avoid some seat clashes in GE15.

Adam, the youth activist added the application on Muda joining PH will be looked into thoroughly.

"We had our PH presidential council (yesterday) and have decided to establish a committee to look into it (application), not just the application by Muda but also by PSM.

Yesterday, PH presidential council has formed a committee to discuss with Muda and PSM over the matter.
