SHAH ALAM - Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital (HRC) confirms the former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is in a good condition to be sent to Kajang Prison.

HRC said Najib had undergone several tests and rehabilitation during his stay in the centre.

"The latest test results done by physician found that his (Najib) health is in good condition.

"He had been referred by HRC Physiotherapy Medical Therapist and could carry out his exercises independently," it said in a statement.

It further said Kuala Lumpur Hospital and HRC Medical Consultants had given clearance on the medicines and allowed him to be sent back to Kajang Prison.

It was previously reported that the Kuala Lumpur High Court ordered the Pekan MP to be brought to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for tests after being informed of his unsatisfactory medical condition.

HRC further said its medical consultants had a session with Najib and his family members for health updates and a layout plan to monitor the health condition of the former Umno president.

"We will continue to be committed and transparent in the services given to ensure the patient achieves optimal potential in line with HRC's goals," the statement added. .
