SHAH ALAM - The government is expected to table Budget 2023 at 4pm today.
The Keluarga Malaysia budget comes amid speculation that elections may be called this year.
If the budget is not approved before elections, the new government will have to retable the budget, causing uncertainties if the same promises will be delivered to the rakyat.
But the core concerns on cost of living, inflation and job opportunities remains. The rakyat are also likely to look for measures taken to curb rising inflation.
Last year, the government tabled one of its biggest budget of RM322 billion.
