All eyes on PMO as dissolution of Parliament expected this week

PUTRAJAYA - All eyes are set on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri today after he was reported to have met the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah yesterday.

Media have gathered at the Prime Minister's Office since 8am to gain the latest developments on the country's political situation.

The PMO is open today despite it being a public holiday.

Ismail Sabri was understood to have no official assignments this morning however, he will be attending the 76th Agung MIC assembly at 2.30pm in Kuala Lumpur.

On Sunday, the media reported Ismail Sabri was believed to have met the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the dissolution of Parliament before the King flew to London to meet Britain's King Charles III.

The meeting with the Umno Top 5 was understood to have taken place yesterday in Kuala Lumpur.

Ismail Sabri is expected to meet Cabinet Ministers and Umno Supreme Working Council members today to inform of his meeting with the King to dissolve the Parliament and pave the way for the 15th General Election (GE15).
