Nights of Fright.

What do you usually associate it with? Of course it will be an eerie situation, ghosts, thrills and also of course last but not least the undeniably scary horror houses.

Well, the last Nights of Fright 7 was held two years ago which is in 2020 and after that it was unfortunate as events couldn’t go on due to the pandemic Covid-19.

It was indeed a bummer.

However, 2022 was a game changer for all of us, where I had an experience to engulf what the Nights of Fright 8 had to welcome the spooky month this year.

Along the streets of Sunway Lagoon theme park where they organised the Nights of Fright 8, all ghosts were in their masks and scary costumes.

If I was to name all the ghosts, I might sound weird but there were pandas, pocongs, ghost brides, vampires and many more!

Of course they have haunted houses and amusement rides at the theme park but we can’t possibly cover it all right?

Honestly, I thought it was about to rain since the weather was windy and all but no it was just what I felt when entering the theme park.

Horrorwood Studios was the first horror house that I entered and it totally gave me chills as I considered myself as a scaredy cat as well.

As the door creaked open, at that moment I knew that I was done! The sensational feeling of two years not stepping my feet on the haunted house was there.

We were welcomed by the crew there who were dressed like hotel bellboys and had special effect makeup to get him into character.

It was like an asylum and all the ghosts started to bang the doors and walls and of course, jumpscares!

I was nervous as I walked and hopefully they were not standing behind the doors and jump on us.

The second one was the 99 Doors where it had a theatre concept and there were pocongs standing at every corner of the hall.

It was quite eerie with the ghosts singing at the doors and windows. But, that was not the main of the house.

Malaysian talented actress, Nabila Huda stole the show last night with her in a white dress acting as if she was possessed and everyone literally screamed for her.

I mean, who doesn’t? She nailed her acting in the film Munafik before right?

Moving on to the next horror house was The Hotel Devil and once again another hotel bellboy welcomed us with his spooky makeup.

Last but not least, the fourth haunted house I went to was the Bloodshed and we were welcomed by a scary man in a mask.

Amongst all the horror houses that I entered, for me Bloodshed had the ability to make me cry for mercy to be honest.

They instructed us to hold a rope, and the reason for that was definitely makes someone not letting go of the rope when the inside was so dark and I could see the red lights and smoke under my knees.

I thought it was all, but no, jokes on me! It was all cool before storms when I think it was the scariest and had the longest period inside. If I could rate Bloodshed over 10, it could be eight and it wasn't a lie.

For someone who was not a screamer, I did screamed a lot until we got out from the horror house. To compare between Nights of Fright 7 and Nights of Fright 8, for me both followed their own theme and this time around people were more eager to enjoy after two years.

For those who are still doubting whether should they get the tickets or not, I suggest you better don't think about it and just go buy the tickets as soon as possible and get spooky!
