KOTA MARUDU - Sabah Bersatu chief Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said he has not received any letter of resignation from Bandau State Assemblyman Datuk Wetrom Bahanda.

However, he admitted that he had heard about Wetrom's claims through social media.

"We have not yet accepted his resignation," he told reporters after attending the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) programme here, Sunday.

He said this when asked by reporters over claims of Wetrom, the assistant minister to the chief minister to quit Bersatu to join Warisan.

Asked if Wetrom's actions would weaken Bersatu, Hajiji said GRS is confident that Bersatu Kota Marudu division would remain strong.

It was earlier reported that Wetrom would quit Bersatu after the rumours went viral on social media on Saturday.
