ISKANDAR PUTERI - Two siblings involved in a heartbreaking incident in Kampung Ulu Pulai, Ulu Choh here had a good relationship and greatly respected their parents.

A member of the victim’s family who wanted to remain anonymous said that the entire family was still shocked over the stabbing incident that took place on Wednesday afternoon.

He said the victim's sister and the victim were the eldest and second child of five siblings.

"Both are good children and very intelligent because they often get excellent exam results, in addition to being the hope of the family.

"They are also given good religious education and observe five daily prayers. The victim had studied at Maahad Pontian before moving to a secondary school in Iskandar Puteri. His sister is a student in Form Six," he said when met on Thursday.

He added that the victim's parents are still traumatised and extremely pressured by the incident.

It was earlier reported that the victim and his sister were fighting over a seat in the car on their way home from school.

Iskandar Puteri district police chief ACP Rahmat Ariffin had said that the victim's sister admitted to having thrown a knife at the victim after being teased as they entered the house.
