SHAH ALAM - Pejuang Tanjong Karang parliamentary seat candidate Azlan Sani Zawawi or popularly known as Lando Zawawi reiterated again today that he did attend the University of Tasmania.

Lando said although he attended the university, he never claimed that he graduated or finished his studies.

“We are going into the elections, and some people have bad intentions but I tell you what, it is good to ask because lately we have a lot of comments on the fake doctors and fake datukships.

“I went to the University of Tasmania in 1996 and I never claimed that I finished, if I finished I would have said that I have a Bachelors degree,” he said during the Sinar Daily's Fireside Chat programme dubbed “Lando Landing in Parliament”.

During the programme Lando also showed proof of his identification card at the University.

Lando added that it makes no sense that he would graduate in 1996 when he just entered the matriculation college in 1994. “ I went for matriculation in 1994 for one year and a half so how can I graduate in 1996? There is no way,” he stressed.

He added that he could not disclose the reason why he had quit his studies from the university due to personal reasons. Lando was responding to criticism from a few parties who had questioned his educational background.
