MACHANG - The wave of support of the people for Barisan Nasional (BN) seems to be growing stronger in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Kelantan BN chairman Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub said until now the people of the state, especially voters outside the country, have expressed their support and trust in BN.

"I don't see support for other parties, what I can see is the people's support for BN to govern the country in the future.

"Besides that, I have not heard of any Umno leadership who have changed direction, instead they are still supporting the BN cause," he said when met after a walkabout programme at Pasar Tani Machang, here.

Ahmad Jazlan, who is also incumbent Machang MP said the GE15 campaign in the state was seen as less lively because it focused more at the Parliament level.

"Not only BN, but the Pas machinery is also not making much of an effort as they knew that the candidates from other parties will contest," he said.
