GE15: Radzi announces five pillars, 50 offers in manifesto for Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA - Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate for the Putrajaya parliamentary constituency Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin is offering five pillars comprising 50 offers to the 42,881 voters in the constituency if they vote for the party in the 15th General Election (GE15).

He said the offers in the manifesto dubbed “Era Baharu Putrajaya” (Putrajaya's New Era) considered the inputs by residents at the Federal Government Administrative Centre.

“In the last four years of living in Putrajaya, we realised that many wanted to see change happening in GE15,” he said.

He said all the offers presented were within PN’s capabilities to execute if they were given the voters’ mandate next Saturday.

“Putrajaya should rise to a better level,” he said in his speech at the launching of his manifesto for Putrajaya, here on Friday.

Commenting on the offers, Mohd Radzi said it encompassed public welfare, the people, the economy, education, youths as well as infrastructure and public facilities.

“Those five pillars include for prosperous Putrajaya citizens, for a prosperous economy, for the education of the Putrajaya generation, for the future of youths and for infrastructure and planned public facilities,” he said.

Among the mainstay in creating a prosperous Putrajaya citizen was offering the creation of a one-stop centre namely Putrajaya Care, which will function to increase the efficiency in delivering services of MPs to Putrajaya citizens.

“It will function as a platform for citizens of Putrajaya to file complaints as well as receive service assistance, book facilities and share information,” he said.

The Parti Pribumi Bersatu (Bersatu) deputy president said in a spiritual context, the #NgajiPutrajaya programme will be implemented through the provision of al-Quran recitation classes.

“It is equipped with complete modules for children, teenagers and adults, including the use of digital technology in prayer rooms,” he said.

He said Putrajaya’s potential as a tourism destination for local and foreign tourists will be improved by increasing offers for new tourism products of high value.

He said that the development of the tourism sector will drive employment and business opportunities for the local citizens.

As for the education sector, at least RM5,000 will be allocated to the parents and teachers association (PIBG) per year to support the role and contribution of the association in aiding the students’ future.

“Registered school buses will be provided for free for needy students as a facility to attend school,” he said.

Putrajaya voters were also offered early aid for entrance to public higher learning institutions as much as RM500 aside from #SiswaDigital for low-income families.

Mohd Radzi said a Putrajaya Youth Complex complete with conducive facilities for the use of youths, non-government organisations (NGO), students and gig workers will be established.

“A grant allocation of RM50,000 will be offered to the Putrajaya Student Association to carry out volunteer and community activities,” he said.
