BANGI - Muda secretary-general Amir Hariri Abd Hadi says all racial base parties do is to play the racial card during elections, neglecting core issues such as education.

“Education is the tool for change but whenever we are nearing elections, BN and PN only focus on racial issues,” Amir said during a Pakatan Harapan (PH) ceramah, here, tonight.

“Education is the tool for changes but whenever we are nearing elections, BN and PN only focus on racial issues,” Amir said during his speech at Pakatan Harapan (PH) campaign speech here, today.

He further asked the rational of holding elections during the monsoon season.

"When we are facing the monsoon season, how will we help the affected victims?

"But leaders in Putrajaya only think about power and position. If we look at history, almost no election has been held during the monsoon season,” he said.

He also said that Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi made a controversial statement during his speech among his supporters saying that "this election is the mother of all elections because if we do not win, not only me who will be charged”.

He said the statement was embarrassing considering Zahid is a leader of the biggest party in the country.

“A leader with integrity would resign if he did something wrong.

He added BN coalition despite being associated with many problems, people would still give them a chance to govern the country,

“When the election approaches, they (BN) still have the chance to win.

“It is embarrassing,” he said.
