If Zahid becomes PM, he will get rid of everyone who opposes him - Tun M

SHAH ALAM - Following a slew of Umno leaders being axed from contesting in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15), Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad simply said that Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi has his ways of securing his position.
Dr Mahathir added that Barisan Nasional (BN) would not make a good government with such an attitude.
"If he (Zahid) becomes prime minister, he will get rid of all the people that are against him," he told Sinar Daily.
He was commenting on Sungai Buloh Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Khairy Jamaluddin publicly criticising Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi Khairy had previously stated publicly that he is not his president's favourite person because he is not a yes man in the party.
Several familiar names from Umno were dropped ahead of the Nov 19 polls. Among them were former Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa, former National Unity Minister Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique, former Federal Territories Minister Shahidan Kassim and former Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Seri Adham Baba.
