IPOH - Tambun Parliamentary seat Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu becomes among the earliest individual to cast their vote at Sekolah Rendah Agama Rakyat Al-Ihtidaiyah, Tambun Height, here, today.

He arrived at the polling centre at about 7.55am accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Nomee Ashikin Mohammed Radzi and the duo voted at 8.05am.

Faizal then had time to greet the crowd at the polling station.

When met by reporters, he said he was happy with the voter turnout and was positive that PN would be able to win.

Other than Faizal, the BN candidate Datuk Aminuddin Md Hanafiah had also voted in the Parliamentary constituency.

Aminuddin and his wife Datin Rosnizan Abdul Aziz arrived at Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanah Hitam, Chemor at 9.05am and voted at 9.15am.

The Tambun Parliamentary seat witnessed the four-corner clash involving Faizal as its incumbent against Aminuddin, Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Abdul Rahim Tahir (Pejuang)
