PANDAN - PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli regained the Pandan seat for Pakatan Harapan with a whopping 48,296 majority in a five-cornered battle.

Rafizi garnered 74,002 votes, swamping Perikatan Nasional's Muhammad Farique Zubir Albakri with 25,706 votes, while Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Leong Kok Wee was third with 11,664 votes.

Former Pandan member of parliament Tan Sri Ong Tee Keat, who held the seat between 2004 and 2013, came out fourth on his comeback to politics under the Warisan banner with 3,323 votes, while Gerakan Tanah Air's Nadia Hanafiah earned just 961 votes.

Rafizi had previously won the Pandan seat in the 13th general elections in 2013, but had to sit out the 14th general election due to a technicality, forcing PKR to field its then president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who won and was appointed Deputy Prime Minister.
