Ismail Sabri leaves Umno headquarters
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has left Umno headquarters at 1.15am.
This comes as Barisan Nasional is expected to lose the Nov 19 polls.
Some of the Umno supreme council including Titiwangsa's Datuk Seri Johari Ghani was seen entering the building.
Johari told reporters that he was going up to the Umno office and Umno supreme council was expected tomorrow.
The media have been waiting at the Umno headquarters since 7pm today, expecting Umno President Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi to address the media.
However, the Umno headquaters have been quiet as compared to Perikatan Nasional supporters at Glenmarie Shah Alam who have been chanting "tadbir" as Pas win seats.
The Election Commission has said that as of 12.15am that Pas has won 18 seats and PN has won 17.
Most of Umno big guns including Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor and Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Aziz has lost seats. Dr Mahathir Mohamad's Pejuang has failed to secure any of the 102 seats it contested.
