It's not true that Muhyiddin wants to ‘kill’ BN - Annuar

SHAH ALAM - Ketereh Umno division chief Tan Sri Annuar Musa declares that it is not true that PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin harbours the intention to destroy Barisan Nasional.

He said during the conflict in 2019 where Umno Sabah lost a lot of money for being allegedly linked to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) funds, Muhyiddin had come to the rescue by giving millions in order to help them.

He further said that as a Muslim, people needed to be fair and not accuse someone so easily.

“The same could be said for those saying that Pas and Bersatu want to kill us.

“Pas has helped us in the past when we were at our lowest.

“Look at us giving support to each other's candidates in Cameron Highland, Semenyih and Kimanis in the past.

“We need to be honest in politics and as a Muslim, we need to be fair and not accuse Muhyiddin, Pas, or Bersatu to kill us,” he said on his Facebook live on Monday.

He added how he was also accused as pro-Bersatu and claimed to carry the voices of the enemy due to the hatred created against the Bersatu.

Annuar said they needed to be united and Islam had taught that without unity, they would fall.

“We need to be united, Islam taught us that if we don’t, then we will fall.

“We should take this lesson from the Quran which asks us to unite but due to personal gain, we push this teaching away.

‘I would say that greed and arrogance have brought the party (BN) failure,” he added.
