KUALA LUMPUR - Kuala Lumpur police are offering a 50 per cent discount on selected traffic summonses in conjunction with the Padang West Sumatran Malay Cultural Event at the Lalaport shopping mall, Grand Bazaar, Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC).

Discount offers start today and tomorrow from 9am to 5pm at the Malaysian Grand Bazaar.

Kuala Lumpur Police in a Facebook post said that a 50 per cent discount on all traffic summonses except summonses involving accidents, non-compoundable (NC), trial status offences, offences related to heavy vehicles and summonses with arrest warrant status.

In addition, summons related to exhaust modifications, lorry-related offences, Ops Selamat, summons for using mobile phone while driving, offences for not wearing a seatbelt while driving, beating traffic lights, driving without license and speeding are also not eligible for discount.

The police urged the public to take the opportunity attend the programme and take advantage of discounts.
