Millennials who grew up listening to popular Indonesian hits will very likely be familiar with tunes, like "Firasat" and "Semusim" by Marcell Siahaan.

Since then, Marcell has rightfully earned his status as one of Indonesia's most popular singers, having released multiple hits.

Two decades on, he has proved to still win the hearts of millennial fans in Malaysia with an impeccable performance at "The Marcell Dua Dekade" concert held on Dec 9 at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.

While he performed his older tunes, fans also looked forward to hearing new songs like ‘Menunggu’ and ‘Akhir Cinta’, which were written in conjunction with his 44th birthday last year.

"The audience wants to sing along to my songs, not just watch me perform them. So it’s important for me to make the audience happy," said the Bandung-born star.
