RM888,000 to be won in the year of the rabbit through Lotus’s Sama-Sama Huat Chinese New Year 2023 campaign

This coming Chinese New Year (CNY), Lotus's Stores Malaysia (Lotus’s Malaysia) is ushering in the year of the hopeful water rabbit by bringing back the joy of the celebration through its Sama-Sama Huat (SSH) Chinese New Year campaign. The retailer is taking the opportunity to reward its customers with prizes worth a total of RM888,000 during the festive season.

Customers may also stand a chance to win many prizes weekly online and in-store," said Lotus's Malaysia president Kenneth Chuah

“Making it even more rewarding, My Lotus’s members can also take advantage of our “Baucar Ganda-Ganda”, which allows shoppers to use up to 4X discount coupons (up to RM8) on their subsequent purchases with no minimum spending”.

The Lotus’s Sama-Sama Huat campaign will commence on 26 December 2022 until 18 January 2023 at all 65 Lotus's stores nationwide, offering customers the chance to win the grand prize of RM8,880 through its Spin & Win gamification programme.

A total of 84 lucky weekly winners will be able to walk away with RM880 over the period of three weeks, while five fortunate winners will have a chance to win the grand prize of RM8,880 at the end of the contest period.

Customers participating in the Spin & Win will also win vouchers valued from RM0.50, RM1.00, RM1.80, and RM8.00 for their next purchase and receive a special set of limited premium Ang Pow packets when they spend at least RM88 in a single checkout. True to its #KitakanJiran community spirit, Lotus's will also be activating its Sama-Sama Hidup Baru community initiative in 2023 with its charity partner, Kechara Soup Kitchen.

This initiative aims to provide the homeless, displaced individuals, and the urban poor with the opportunity for a new beginning through the distribution of meals & hygiene essentials, a makeover and an opportunity to be employed by Lotus’s.

On Dec 15 2022, Lotus's opened its 65th store at Aman Central, Kedah. They unveiled the newest addition to its digital payment platform, the TrueMoney e-wallet, giving more seamless payment solutions to its customers and expanding its Food Surplus Programme to the area.
