SHAH ALAM - RapidKl has announced another technical glitch in LRT service heading to Kelana Jaya station which was met with a barrage of criticism in social media.

RapidKL said the glitch was from Universiti to KL Sentral station.

“The technical team is currently at the location for maintenance work. Train was driven manually from KL Sentral station to Pasar Seni,”

Half hour later at 6:01pm, RapidKL tweeted: “Train stopped for some time at Damai station heading to Gombak due to a switch problem,” it said.

Due to the inconveniences, many public transport users complained and looked for partners to carpool from the stations to their desired destinations.

User @marwanmahdzir asked “is there anyone to share Grab from Ara Damansara to Sri Rampai or Wangsa Maju?” and also @travor210202 asked to carpool from Avenue K to Ara Damansara.

Complains were also coming from the public who got back from work and questioned the glitch that took place during the peak hour.

@learning2photo said “Aiyo so paloi (stupid) one LRT. Back to working schedule and everything is back to breakdown again. What? Need the minister to come down only then work hard?” he said.

Meanwhile, @atinteeny and @mewondamaximoff also complained the LRT was down due to service issues during peak hour.
