KOTA KINABALU - Seven Pakatan Harapan (PH) and five Barisan Nasional (BN) assemblymen attended a meeting with Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor along with a few GRS members.

The closed-door meeting took place at the Chief Minister's official residence in Sri Gaya. here, on Sunday.

No details have been disclosed on the meeting so far but it is believed that it was on the Cabinet reshuffle in the state as announced by Hajiji on Friday.

The ssemblymen were seen entering the official residence at 3.50pm.

Meanwhile, Kiulu assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai said the meeting was a regular one before attending the special session of the State Legislative Assembly next Tuesday.

"It is normal for us to hold a meeting before the State Assembly convenes.

"But of course Hajiji will brief us on current political updates.

"However, it is no longer a secret that we have the support of 44 assemblymen," he said when asked by reporters here.

Meanwhile, Tanjung Keramat assemblyman, Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya who is one of BN assemblymen spoke briefly to the media.

"Just wait," he said shortly with a smile to the reporters who greeted him at the Sri Gaya grounds.

Last Friday, Hajiji announced that the Sabah government will reshuffle the Cabinet and it will be done in the near future.
