'We took a break from speaking about politics today' - Masidi

This was confirmed by Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun who said they aimed the discussions at preparing the special state assembly meeting on Tuesday.
"All the assemblymen had gathered here for the discussion on tomorrow’s state assembly meeting, which will see the purpose of approving two enactments. We discussed nothing else, we held the meeting to coordinate who will speak tomorrow.
"There were no discussions on politics today. We have to decide to take 'off' from politics (discussion of Cabinet reshuffle).
"There are times we have to focus on our work and responsibilities as the people’s representatives," he said when met by reporters in Sri Gaya, here.
When asked regarding rumours of new ministers in the Sabah Cabinet, the Karanan Assemblyman said if there was a Cabinet change, it would be announced later.
"There are none for now, when there are changes, we will announce it when the time is right," he said.
Speaking on the State Assembly Meeting tomorrow, he hoped everyone would act and speak maturely.
"We hope for all the assemblymen to be mature so that we can perform our duties right and approve both enactments tomorrow. The enactments would be related to giving autonomy to Sabah to manage its own affairs (according to the Malaysian Agreement 1963).
"Previously, it was under the National Energy Commission, and some were under Petronas. Tomorrow will be the beginning of the state government taking charge on this as per MA63," he said.
