SHAH ALAM - Cooks often say check your ingredients before cooking. But what happens when a person gives inaccurate information?

TikTok viewers were in shock recently over information shared on a spice product, stating one of the ingredients in the product contained pork.

A lady in the 1.24 second video was heard cautioning Muslims over some of the spices had pork.

"Be careful. The seasoning has pork," she told her viewers.

However, Twitter user @KlutzyKucing said the information read was not the ingredients in the product but a suggestions on how to use the spice. The seasoning could be used to spice up fish, chicken, lamb, pork dishes.

"Learning English is important. It is dangerous when there are those who watch the video without a good command of English.

"That is not the ingredients. That is a suggestion how to cook using it," the user said through a tweet on Wednesday with the viral video.

@KlutzyKucing further told the spice product owner not to sue the content owner for spreading misinformation.
