It was like the early 2000s all over again at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, as America's R&B singer Ne-Yo charms Malaysian fans with his classics at his concert, last night.

The three-time Grammy winner serenaded the audience with hits like "So Sick", "Closer", "Miss Independent", "Mad" and many more.

Ne-yo's melodious voice and engaging performance made it hard for the crowd to remain seated during the entire performance, ditching their seats to dance to the songs they grew up listening to.

"Ne-yo's show is all about the music. And I believe my music speaks for itself," said Ne-Yo while promoting his latest album, "Self-Explanatory".

The artiste last performed in Malaysia in 2010 and rose to stardom in early 2000 after writing the "Let Me Love You" hit song sung by singer Mario.
