Unity govt needs to consider all complaints by the people

KUALA LUMPUR- The unity government needs to take all the complaints from the people to ensure better economic development and to lower the cost of living.

Umno vice president Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob expressed his hopes for the Chinese New Year, saying that the unity government needed to focus on issues faced by the people especially the rising cost of living.

He said yesterday (Saturday), a woman complained about not being able to withdraw her Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contribution.

"In the past, during my service, many people were arguing when we were doing a study on whether the EPF should be withdrawn.

"This is a very important issue for the rakyat, and I hope that the voices of these people are heard now," he said during MCA's Chinese New Year celebration at Wisma MCA, here, today.

In conjunction with the year of the rabbit, the Bera MP hoped that Malaysia will be more vigorous, move towards a better economic development cost of living to be reduced.
