KUALA LUMPUR - The Prime Minister's Department today denied a report by a news portal quoting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that he agrees with a planned demonstration by PAS Youth in front of the Swedish embassy tomorrow.

The PMO in a post on its official Facebook page said that the information conveyed through the news report with the headline 'PM Anwar agrees to the PAS Youth demonstration at the Embassy of Sweden tomorrow after Friday prayers' is false.

"The public is requested not to spread or share any unverified or false information. If you’re not sure, don't share," read the message.

A check found that the report had been removed from the portal.- BERNAMA
