Umno Cleanse: Time to focus on family, hobbies - Shahril
KUALA LUMPUR - Former Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan said his suspension from Umno gives him time to shift his focus on his family and hobbies.
“Before this, I was busy with my work so as a father, I believe that this suspension is the time for me to spend more time with my children at home,” he said during the Sinar Live programme entitled ‘Pahit nak telan, tapi...’, conducted by host Hazwan Mokhtar broadcast live on all Sinar Harian social media platforms.
Speaking of his hobbies, he said he was interested in playing guitar and cricket.
“I am interested in playing guitar and cricket, but my skills are not so good so I think it’s time for me to improve my skills.
“Oh yes, not to forget, I also have an interest in esports.
“During secondary school, I spent my time playing Dota at cyber cafes, but this is not a good example,” he laughed.
Shahril was among the 42 Umno members who were suspended for six years after the Umno supreme council meeting on Jan 27 (Friday).
