Umno's strength can save PH, says Zaid Ibrahim

Datuk Zaid Ibrahim said both parties could benefit from one another. It further ensures a two third majority government, he said.
"Sometimes decisions made by PH' may not be in Umno's favour. We need to take a position that anything done should ensure political stability and help to rakyat," he said.
He was one of the panelist at Wacana Sinar series 387 titled 'Umno Elections: The Process of Cleansing the Party?' which was broadcast live on Sinar Harian's Facebook, tonight.
The talks was also attended by Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam and former BN Executive Secretary Senator Datuk Dr Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad while Ismail Adnan was moderator.
Zaid further said a positive approach to ensure political stability and to develop the country should be prioritised first instead of pointing fingers at certain parties.
"If we see something as a burden, I can also raise other issues, but we need a positive attitude, patience, and our attitude must be to develop the country.
"To me that is more important than looking for mistakes or weaknesses. This is not the time," he said.
