Kedah MB launches 'Sayangi Kedah Sejahtera' slogan

ALOR SETAR - The Kedah state government today launched the 'Sayangi Kedah Sejahtera' slogan as a commitment for shared prosperity with the 2.2 million people in the state.

Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said prosperity will be achieved regardless of race, religion, political affiliation, economic status, education or other differences.

"Since being entrusted with the leadership of the state government from May 2022, I have introduced the slogan ‘of Kedah Sejahtera-Nikmat Untuk Semua’ (‘Shared Prosperity for All’) as the core of state government administration.

"In this context, my emphasis is that I am the Menteri Besar for all the people of Kedah and not for the Malays, Muslims or my political party," he said at the launch of the ‘Sayangi Kedah Sejahtera’ logo campaign at Wisma Darul Aman, here today.

He said there are six pillars contained in the statement of ‘Kedah Sejahtera-Nikmat Untuk Semua’ which comprises freedom, safety, togetherness, justice, prosperity and harmony.

"During these three years, the people have witnessed that all parties in the state government’s administration have worked hard to achieve the vision of the mission statement and the proof can be seen in several successes including in the investment sector and the land ownership approval process,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kedah information, communication and multimedia, domestic trade and consumer affairs committee chairman Datuk Wan Romani Wan Salin said the launch of the slogan was aimed at creating an amiable bond of goodwill between the state’s top leaders and the people.- BERNAMA
