No official word yet on Annuar Musa joining Pas, says Youth chief
KOTA BHARU - "I've heard (rumours) from afar," says Pas Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari when asked to confirm if Muafakat Nasional (MN) president Tan Sri Annuar Musa will join the party.
However, Fadhli said the matter was not officially informed to the Pas Central Committee or the central affairs.
"I can’t give any comments about (Musa's) membership as it is under the secretariat led by the party's secretary general," he told Sinar Harian on Wed.
He said he is not aware if there was any application to be a member, made by Annuar.
Fadhli was confident that Annuar will choose Pas or Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) component party to continue his political career.
Annuar on Feb said he will join one of the three parties that had previously made him an offer.
He explained he will not establish a new party as many are worried about the division among the people, especially the Malays.
The former Communications and Multimedia Minister said his choice was a party that would unify Muslims, be truthful, and not misuse their powers.
