Hafidz Roshdi undergoes psychiatric evaluation at Hospital Bahagia
SHAH ALAM - Actor Hafidz Roshdi has gone to Hospital Bahagia yesterday to undergo psychiatric evaluation as ordered by the Kuala Kubu Baru magistrate's court during a proceeding on March 13.
His lawyer Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kader when contacted confirmed the matter.
However, Akberdin said the result of the evaluation was not out yet.
"Hafidz went to Hospital Bahagia yesterday to undergo psychiatric evaluation, but the doctor has yet given the results since there are still several procedures for treatment that he needs to follow.
"It depends on the doctor when the evaluation results will be out. Hafidz he has to undergo the examination to comply with the court order," he told Harian Metro.
Asked if Hafidz could meet his children during the treatment, Akberdin said his client could do so as there were no obstacles.
Previously, Sessions judge Siti Fatimah Talib who sat as the magistrate ordered Hafidz to undergo a psychiatric evaluation after allowing deputy public prosecutor Nurul Qistini Qamarul Abrar's application in accordance with Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Hafidz or his real name Muhammad Hafidz Roshdi, 29, has pleaded not guilty to intentionally causing hurt to his wife Nurul Shuhada Mat Shukri, 29, at the Sungai Buaya Toll Plaza exit, at 3.30am on March 2.
The actor was accused with punching his wife three times, causing the victim to suffer bruises and swelling on her left cheek.
