KUALA LUMPUR - Sustainability in defence and aerospace will be in focus at the upcoming Langkawi International Maritime Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA’23) next month.

Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd managing director Anita Jacobson noted that sustainability has been a market priority with accelerated demand coming in the aviation, maritime and aerospace industries.

"Sustainability is the market now and we know there is demand, as such we have created a space technology cluster for the exhibition this year,” she told Bernama in an exclusive interview.

Supporting the sustainability agenda as the exhibition organiser, she said the company also received sponsorship from BMW Malaysia on electric vehicles to transport some of the delegates to LIMA’23.

"We will also have sessions by companies including Petronas to talk about sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at the exhibition,” she said.
