KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed the hope that Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will continue to be given physical strength and good health.

Through a post on his Facebook page, Anwar shared that he had the opportunity to speak with Erdogan last night.

"Alhamdulillah, he (Erdogan) is getting better, and thank you to everyone who prayed for him," according to the post.

Last Wednesday, it was reported by the international media that Erdogan fell ill during a live TV interview on Tuesday. He returned later saying he had a "serious stomach flu.” - BERNAMA
