ALOR SETAR - The Central Pas Aidilfitri Open House did not state government funds, but party funds only.

Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said, it is different from the Malaysia Madani Open House which uses certain ministry funds to organise the event in six states.

According to him, the event was held at the party premises to reduce costs besides saving money.

"We did not use the state government funds to organise the event. I want to inform the Prime Minister, we held a feast at the party premises using the party funds.

"It's not the ministry's money like theMadani's feast. Ministry allocations have to be allocated for the ministry, like the Prime Minister can use the allocation, but should not use it for party events, that's why I said it's a state election campaign, not an eid feast. I can use the state government money, but I did not ," he said.

He said this while speaking at the Central Pas Aidilfitri Open House at the Kedah Pas Complex in Kota Sarang Semut on Saturday.

Also present at the event was Pas Mursyidul Am Datuk Hashim Jasin, Pas deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Bersatu secretary general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, Gerakan president Datuk Dr Dominic Lau and Arau MP Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim.

Muhammad Sanusi said, leadership should be showcased apart from just saying things.
