Anwar said party leaders who are not contesting in the state polls will continue to provide their support as a sign of unity and cooperation towards the unity government.

"The negotiations will continue soon, maybe PH and BN representatives will decide several matters involving the division of seats, candidates, and campaign strategies.

Several other leaders from other component parties also attended the meeting.

Anwar also announced that the Unity Government Convention on May 14 will be held with invitations being extended to the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) and Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM).
